Description:

Carbon agent (calcined petroleum coke) is used in producing casting, it can increase the used quantity of Scrap steel and reduce the quantity of Scrap iron, or use no Scrap iron at all, the calcined petroleum coke has follow properties: high absorptive character, no residue will be left and save production cost.

Application range:

Carbon agent mainly used in steelmaking to add the carbon content in steel.

To add carbon agent in foundry process can greatly increase the consumption of steel scrap, reduce the consumption of pig iron, or don’t even use pig iron. To use Graphite Carbon agent in foundry can greatly reduce the impurities in the pig iron and producing castings costs.

Used as prebaked anode and anode paste in electrolytic aluminium and magnesium manufacture;

Used in high carbon steel smelting due to its high quality with few impurities.

Used as soderberg electrode for ferro alloy industries
